- From June to October, the huge but friendly Humpback Whales pass through the coastal waters around the Central Coast on their annual migration.
- In winter they head north from the feeding grounds in the Southern Ocean, to the warm tropical Pacific Ocean, where they mate and return south with their calves in the spring.
- Admire these huge ocean mammals as they leap and roll
in mid-air. Observe water spouting from their blowholes, tail lobbing, flipper slapping and calves frolicking at their mothers’ side.
- Humpback whales are an endangered mammal species and are protected internationally.
